What does "+ Costs" cover?

State filing fees (CA SOS), registered-agent fees if applicable, and a small DFPI filing fee. We pass these through at cost — no markup.

Single-member vs. multi-party — what's the difference?

A single-member engagement covers a single owner or shareholder. A multi-party engagement adds governance, voting, vesting, transfer restrictions, and other co-ownership provisions to the operating agreement or bylaws.

Can you form a corporation instead of an LLC?

Yes. The flat fees apply to either an LLC or a corporation (C-corp or S-corp). We'll discuss tax and governance tradeoffs in your intake call.

What counts as "complex" entity work?

Holding-company structures, multi-class equity, multi-state qualifications, conversions, mergers, and any bespoke governance. We'll scope these hourly and quote you before any work begins.

Do you handle expedited filings?

Yes — expedited state filings are available for an additional fee paid directly to the Secretary of State. Ask in your intake call.

Who actually does the work?

California-licensed attorneys at Apricity Law. No template machine, no overseas paralegal mill.
